The Special Olympics Ireland Tri-Peak challenge is not to be missed – but don’t just take our word for it!
Check out what Miriam Judge, a FOUR-TIME FINISHER of previous Tri-Peak events and long-time supporter of Special Olympics, has to say about her experiences of pushing herself to reach new heights in her previous Tri-Peak Challenges.
“First of all, it is such a great opportunity to test your own ability while seeing amazing peaks in Ireland. It is rare to get three peaks in one day and it is such a lovely experience. The hardest part is signing up. Then it’s easy breezy after that. If you’re on the fence about it, find a friend and go together!
Special Olympics have great teams there to support your fundraising efforts and often give great ideas plus buckets and permits if you’re thinking of fundraising that requires one. I’m always blown away by people’s kindness and willingness to donate. I have also hosted table quizzes in the past and bag packing in supermarkets. Grab some of your family and friends and get them involved too.
Finally, a piece of advice…. bring spare shoes. Your feet will thank you! Enjoy, make memories and try your best 😊”
Why not be like Miriam and push yourself to “make memories”, while supporting Special Olympics Ireland athletes?
