Support An Athlete
January-March 2025
The Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025 will take place from March 8th to 15th, bringing together over 1,500 athletes from 103 countries to compete in eight thrilling winter sports. On average, we will need your help to raise close to €3,500 per athlete, to support our athletes in their dreams to compete on the world stage. Your support, no matter how small, is invaluable to us and our campaign.
Collection Day
May 2025
Special Olympics Ireland Annual Collection Day is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of athletes with an intellectual disability. Join the effort with your colleagues to support Special Olympics Ireland. Organise Your Own Fundraising Event in May. Rally your team to host a fundraising event any day in May. OR Volunteer with colleagues to help with bucket collections in your community on May 2nd.
Croke Park Abseil
June 2025
This June, take on an unforgettable challenge to support Special Olympics Ireland by abseiling 150 feet down from the iconic Hogan Stand at Croke Park! Gather your colleagues, friends, or family for this thrilling experience and help raise vital funds for Special Olympics athletes. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged! Fundraising Goal: Registration is €150 with each participant asked to raise a minimum of €350. Every euro raised goes directly toward supporting the athletes, funding their training, events, and opportunities to compete and grow.
Mikey Power Challenge
August 2025
Join Mikey as he attempts to climb the highest peak in each province in Ireland while cycling between each inside 72 hours. This has never been completed in such a gruelling fashion by anyone else and we would love to have you join him for the hikes along the way. Mikey has managed to raise €45,642 to date with his challenges for Special Olympics Ireland! If you would be interested in testing yourself and joining some of the challenge, please do get in touch. Let’s raise funds and conquer the highest peaks TOGETHER.
Executive Dip & Festive Brunch
December 2025
Experience The Executive Dip & Festive Brunch this December at the Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Resort! Enjoy a dip in the water at Portmarnock Beach and afterwards soak up the Christmas atmosphere with hot beverages, food and festivities, all in aid of Special Olympics Ireland athletes. Both individuals and teams welcome.
