Saddle and Reins gallop away with Gala gifts for Clubs Cash prize
Saddle and Reins Special Olympics Club is this month's Gala Gifts winner!
The Newry club is small but definitely mighty. Rebecca Devlin and Megan McElherron, two of the club members and firm friends since childhood, have travelled the world representing the club. Recently they travelled to Berlin for the German National Games, coming home with medals of every colour and placing ribbons as well.
Speaking about the Gala Gifts for Clubs initiative, Tony Cluskey, Marketing & Ambient Trading Manager at Gala Retail, said:
Through Gala’s ongoing partnership with Special Olympics, we have constantly been impressed with the level of commitment and effort from the athletes, volunteers and coaches from each Special Olympics Club across the country.
The club plans to spend the money on a celebratory day out and some new club equipment.
