Looking back on SO Leinster’s legendary sporting 2024

2024 has been a whirlwind of excitement and achievement for Special Olympics Leinster! With 14 spectacular events ranging from skills days to development days, come and try days, inter-regional events, and even the Ireland Winter Games, our athletes have truly shone.

This year, we witnessed 939 incredible athletes giving their all across these diverse events. Each competition was a testament to their dedication, hard work, and passion for sports. From the thrill of the Ireland Winter Games to the camaraderie of regional events, every moment was filled with unforgettable memories and inspiring performances.

As we reflect on this remarkable year, we are bursting with pride for all our athletes. Their achievements have not only brought glory to themselves but have also uplifted the entire Special Olympics Leinster community.
