Leinster Equestrians enjoy the Irish Champions Festival

Prestigious horse-racing event the Irish Champions Festival played host to some Special Olympics Leinster champions on 14 September, as MEP Nina Carberry welcomed our Leinster equestrian athletes to the Curragh Racecourse as her special guests. 

The athletes in attendance, pictured above in the winner’s circle, enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere - and even got to meet the legendary race horse ‘Tiger Roll’! 

The two-day event, now in its 12th year, is one of the leading international flat racing festivals.
