Inter-Regional Qualifier is the biggest Special Olympics Ireland Badminton event ever

The biggest Badminton event ever hosted by Special Olympics Ireland took place at Gormanston Park on Sunday 2nd March. 

The Inter-regional Badminton Qualifiers hosted by Special Olympics Leinster, saw 150 athletes from all 5 Special Olympics Ireland regions take part.

A packed schedule, incredible talent, and plenty of action made for a busy but hugely rewarding event.

Thanks to all volunteers and officials for making the event possible – and congratulations to all athletes for hard-fought, exciting badminton matches!
