Eastern Region volunteer Louise Grant honoured as HerSport Community award finalist

Congratulations to Special Olympics Eastern Region legend Louise Grant who was a shortlisted finalist for the Energia Community Award at the HerSport Awards held at UCD Astra Hall on 25th January.

Louise is very active in volunteering on a weekly basis with Donabate Portrane Special Olympics Club - and also brings her experience and expertise to bear as a tutor with Fingal Sport Office programmes.

It's great to see the drive, dedication and hard work of our volunteers be recognised among all the other trailblazing women in Irish sport. Special Olympics volunteers are at the forefront of communities across Ireland - volunteers like Louise!
