Meet the Eastern Region - Athlete Leadership Committee
The Eastern Region Athlete Leadership Committee is a group of passionate athletes with an ambition to grow and develop the athlete leadership programme. Each athlete comes from a different club, with a variety of experiences and ideas!
Each athlete shares the same goal of giving every athlete a voice, and a platform to be included. Athlete Leadership is a brilliant programme designed for athletes over the age of 16, and we want you all to know more about it, and to get involved! Over the next few months we will introduce you to their stories. Watch this space so you can learn about their journey with Special Olympics and find out why being an athlete leader is not only important to them, but to their clubs and their communities!
