Eastern Region Football Come & Try
As part of European Football Week, Eastern Region will host a Football Come and Try Juvenile Day for all athletes under 16 at Peamount United - Greenogue, Westmanstown, Newcastle, Co. Dublin Saturday 27th May.
As part of European Football Week, Eastern Region will host a Football Come and Try Juvenile Day for all athletes under 16 at Peamount United - Greenogue, Westmanstown, Newcastle, Co. Dublin Saturday 27th May. This event will focus on athlete skill learning and development, and enjoying football in a fun, non-competitive environment. Players will play small-sided games plus they can try some fun skills.
In order to maximize meaningful involvement, we will split the age groups. Please see the details below (open to change)
- 4 – 6 pm Age 8 – 12 Male & Female
- 4 – 6 pm Age 13 – 16 Male & Female
Important Information
- Athletes from all Special Olympics Eastern clubs are invited to register.
- The registration form can be found here and must be completed and returned to stephen.last@specialolympics.ie
- Club volunteers are encouraged to help and assist athletes that require additional support. Please send the names of all club volunteers that will attend along with the athlete registration form.
A schedule with exact times will be shared after all registration has been completed.
