Friendship February
Support the work of Special Olympics Ireland and help us celebrate the importance of friendship this February by signing your primary school or class up for Friendship February
Some of our best friends are made playing sports in the schoolyard, pitch, or training at your local club. This could not be truer for the athletes of Special Olympics Ireland. Ask any Special Olympics athlete why they enjoy being part of the Special Olympics family and the answer will always include “making new friends”.
It is through their Special Olympics Clubs and competitions that our athletes learn to make friends, include one another, help celebrate their successes and support each other through the tough times.
Support the work of Special Olympics Ireland and help us celebrate the importance of friendship this February by signing your Primary School or class up to “Friendship February”: building a better world for us all to enjoy on and off the pitch. Friendship February is a fun chance to encourage your students to take part in 2 acts of Friendship a day across one week while raising funds for Special Olympics Ireland and hopefully learning a little more about our programme along the way.
