COVID-19 update

As the ongoing Coronavirus ( or COVID-19) crisis continues to impact everyone, Special Olympics Ireland are supporting government strategies by ensuring you get your information from the reliable sources.

Through our relationship with different government departments we receive communications once or twice a week with updates on the work being carried out, measures implemented and steps to be taken in order to address the  COVID-19 situation.  

We would like to play our part in sharing this information directly with our clubs and members.  We have also set up a website page which will house links and resources to the latest information we receive. In addition to government bodies Special Olympics International have also adapted athlete friendly materials which are also linked on our page.

I would appreciate if you were in a position to share this information with any contacts you may have in the wider community. 

I would also like to remind you that whilst our offices and clubs are closed you can still contact us via our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
