Did you know our aim for bocce this season is to develop the sport and offer something new to athletes?  Bocce 7’s is a new concept in bocce which was recently piloted in the Connaught Region.

Training's back into the swing of things and I don't know about the swimmers but I'm wiped already! That break at midterm was just what the doctor ordered. Don't ask me to tell you what I did over midterm because I can't remember, I just know I slept a lot! And now it's over the work really begins...

65 athletes enjoyed a fun day at the Indoor Games event in Cappawhite Community Centre Co. Tipperary. The day got off to a great start with the Cashel brass band welcoming everyone with a medley of tunes. There was a great atmosphere of fun and enjoyment all day long and lots of family support at the event.
Geraldine Ryan Maher and her team from Scoil Aonghusa are the driving forces behind indoor games and they were supported by Event manager Martin Tierney and a group of volunteers who also were working on the Ireland Games in the summer.
